FIFA 21: Team of the Week 25 predictions

Cristiano Ronaldo could headline Team of the Week 25 after scoring a first-half hat-trick in Juventus‘s 3-1 victory over Cagliari on Sunday.

The Portuguese forward scored all three goals within 32 minutes to ensure that Andrea Pirlo’s side were able to keep pace with Serie A leaders Inter.

The goals take Ronaldo’s league tally to 23 for the season, from the same amount of appearances.

Here are five other names that could make it into TOTW 25:

Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)

Karim Benzema kept Real Madrid in the hunt for the LaLiga title with two late goals against Elche.

With Real 1-0 down and facing a deficit of nine points to leaders Atletico, Benzema scored in the 73rd and 90th minutes to secure a 2-1 victory.

His first came from a close-range header, before the Frenchman found the bottom corner with a half-volley late on.

Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City)

This weekend was filled with plenty of notable forward performances, but perhaps none more so than from Kelechi Iheanacho.

The Nigerian scored the first hat-trick of his Premier League career in Leicester‘s 5-0 victory over Sheffield United.

Iheanacho also received a perfect 10 rating from WhoScored. He is surely in with a great chance of being included in TOTW 25.

Joao Cancelo (Manchester City)

The Portuguese defender produced an inch-perfect free-kick to find John Stones for City’s opener against Fulham, before contributing towards a clean sheet for his side.

He was awarded the Star Man award by WhoScored, with a 8.8 rating.

First-half hat-tricks seemed to be the theme of the week in Serie A.

Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic preceded Ronaldo’s efforts with one of his own. The Serbian brought up his trio of goals inside 46 minutes.

His tally for the season has now moved onto 12 goals from 26 appearances. The 21-year-old also received a perfect 10 rating on WhoScored for his performance.

Illan Meslier (Leeds United)

With all the talk being about Leeds’s entertaining style of play and attacking prowess this season, the performances of goalkeeper Illan Meslier deserve as much credit.

The Frenchman was in fine form once again versus Chelsea, making eight saves in a 0-0 draw.

He received the WhoScored star man award, with an 8.6 rating.
