We’re watching Riyad Mahrez’s first touch on repeat all day

Riyad Mahrez produced a moment of genius while away on international duty with Algeria.

Up against Zimbabwe in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, Mahrez was picked out by Said Benrahma before pulling off a quite frankly ridiculous first touch on his way to scoring a wonderful solo effort.

As if flicking it over his defender’s head wasn’t enough, he proceeds to dance into the area before sitting him down and slotting home. Poor lad.

Sadly for the winger, Algeria were unable to hold on to their lead, as Knowledge Musona and Prince Dube both netted to salvage a point for Zimbabwe.

The side remain top of their group unbeaten though, so it’s hardly panic stations for their qualifying campaign.
