Pro wrestling gamers across the globe want an answer to one question – when is WWE 2K22 coming out?
Every year WWE fans, and especially gamers, wait for the latest addition to the 2K series to be released. It’s been two years since the last entry, WWE 2K20, but we’re now just a matter of months away from the newest offering to the family.
As the anticipation continues to build, we take a look at everything we know so far.
New trailer released
WWE decided to surprise fans earlier today by unveiling the ‘Hit List’ trailer for WWE 2K22. It insists that they “couldn’t wait until January” to release more information before spending just over 90 seconds rattling off some of the coolest features we can expect to see in the game.
Among the talking points surrounding WWE 2K22 are the graphics, the redesigned gameplay engine and new controls. From what we can tell, that will include more realistic shot selections and the ability to evade your opponents’ attacks.
“It hits different” is the official slogan of 2K22. Let’s see if it lives up to that.

There is no confirmation on one specific date, but we know it will be in March 2022.
The trailer notes that “full details” are to come, beginning in January 2022.

Universe Mode and the Creation Suite are two ever-present members of the WWE 2K22 family. Beyond that, there’s a new 2K Showcase Mode with snippets from Rey Mysterio highlighted in the trailer.
MyGM is a feature that allows you to bring Football Manager into the wrestling world. From booking matches and managing contracts to drafting superstars, it’s pretty immersive.
MyFACTION is a new feature that does what it says on the tin. Players can create brand new factions, manage superstars, constantly monitor the group’s progress, and take part in events.
Finally, we have MyRISE. Various storylines can take you on a wild journey from rookie beginnings to a fully-fledged WWE champion.
