Aaron Ramsdale gets huge FIFA 23 upgrade after successful Arsenal season

After a fantastic debut campaign at the Emirates Stadium, Aaron Ramsdale has received a huge upgrade ahead of the release of FIFA 23.

The yearly FIFA release is always highly anticipated, with millions of fans flocking to the stores, or online, to pick up their copy.

Gamers grind their way to Division One, take their teams to the Champions League Final in Manager Mode and dismantle opponents online on Ulitmate Team. However, way before the release of the game, EA Sports help to increase the anticipation for the game even further.

The gaming giants have already released plenty of key pieces of information, including some of the top ratings. In fact, ‘Ratings Week’ is, as the name suggests, taking place across this week, allowing fans to find out the overalls of their favourite stars.

EA have announced that Karim Benzema, Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski, Kevin De Bruyne and Lionel Messi all sit atop the mountain with a total of 91.

However, we now have access to far more player ratings after yesterday’s drop. One, in particular, has dramatically improved since last year.

After a successful spell at Sheffield United, Ramsdale joined Arsenal at the beginning of last season. And his career has gone from strength to strength. The goalkeeper has made 43 appearances and kept 12 clean sheets last season. His fantastic reactions, stunning saves and even his crowd interactions have seen him become a popular figure among ‘Gunners’ fans.

Consequently, EA have given his improvement some much-deserved recognition. They have upgraded his card from a 74 rating to 82.

The gaming company particularly took note of his tremendous diving, kicking and reflexes, which they rated 83, 84 and 85, respectively.

His kicking stat has received a remarkable boost of +16, and is now rated at 85. His handling is up by an overall of five. In addition, his positioning has gone up by seven, with diving and reflexes both receiving boosts of eight. The only area that hasn’t improved is his speed, which stays at 48.
