Wolves star Adama Traore’s dribbling stats in the Premier League this season are well and truly setting him apart from the rest of his peers.
It’s not exactly a secret that Adama Traore is one of the most intimidating players in world football with the majority of defenders wincing at the idea of even attempting to tackle him. The Spaniard combines his incredible physical presence with the sort of agility that’s rarely seen from someone of his size, constantly causing problems for teams up and down the league.
Strangely enough Wolves boss Bruno Lage hasn’t actually utilised his services much over the course of the last few games and yet despite that, his dribbling statistics are still far and away the most impressive out of anyone within the top five elite European leagues.
49 – @Wolves' Adama Traoré has completed 49 dribbles in the @premierleague this season, at least 16 more than any other player in the big 5 European leagues this term. Might. pic.twitter.com/4mP8Vo5wdI

Just how good is Adama Traore?
Kamaldeen Sulemana, Kylian Mbappe and Alphonso Davies have all gotten off to a decent start in their respective divisions with Allan Saint-Maximin also creating chaos for Newcastle whenever he ventures into the final third. Alas, there are levels to this game and Adama Traore appears to have mastered the art of breaking into the box moreso than the rest of his rivals.
Traore has 49 successful completed dribbles with the rest of the top five being Saint-Maximin (33), Davies (30), Mbappe (29) and Sulemana (26).
The big question now is whether or not he can start to put it all together with respect to his end product. From missing big one-on-one opportunities to not finding his man, the 25-year-old isn’t quite the finished article just yet.
