Eddie Hearn says Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury is signed

For years, fight fans around the globe have longed for an epic collision between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

Now, it appears the monumental clash is right around the corner, just so long as the Olympic gold medallist emerges victorious in his next contest.

WOW: ‘I humbled Tyson Fury’… Boxing star beat ‘The Gypsy King’ in a chaotic fight with police present

In an exclusive interview with Sporf, Eddie Hearn exclaimed: “It’s on, Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury is done, it’s signed. Everyone will be sitting there with their fingers crossed on July 25, and me as well; there’s a lot to overcome. ‘AJ’ has to beat Kristian Prenga, which on paper, he should do, hopefully comfortably, but there’s been a lot going on in his life, and it’s been a big struggle to get back into training camp, which is why July 25 is being called, ‘The Comeback’. It’s only seven months since he last fought, but a lot has gone on in his life, but we’ll all be sitting there hoping we land the Tyson Fury fight.”

Eddie Hearn opens up about Johnny Fisher vs Viktor Jurk

On Saturday evening, Hearn was in attendance when Viktor Jurk landed an astonishing punch to render Edwin Castillo unconscious inside of just four seconds at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany.

Following his explosive victory, the 6ft9 powerhouse called out ‘The Romford Bull’.

When asked about the possibility of that bout taking place, Hearn replied: “I think when you’ve got so many people in attendance, a special performance is going to grab their attention. Johnny Fisher is in a unique spot, where he sells out these venues every time he fights, but he’s looking for the big fights and the big names. I think Viktor is going to be in those big fights, but I think he needs to pull out one of those opponents soon. He’s 14-0 now, so he’s doing great, a good young fighter.”
