And having landed such a crushing blow yesterday evening, the German believes it’s time for ‘The Romford Bull’ to step up and face him inside the ring.

When asked whom he wants the next, the dynamite puncher replied: “Johnny Fisher, why not? Everybody names Johnny Fisher. You have proper UK fighters, give me one of them, let’s go.”

Viktor Jurk reveals what makes Oleksandr Usyk so special

In order to hone his craft, Jurk has sparred extensively with Oleksandr Usyk.

During this time, he’s developed a massive amount of appreciation for the work the superstar has done to become the pound-for-pound number one.

Jurk explained: “I learned I have to stay dedicated to the game. He sticks to his game plan through the camp, and that’s why he is where he is. He’s very strong, has a very good physique, great conditioning and fantastic stamina. You just have to stay dedicated and focus on yourself.”
