Barcelona president Joan Laporta has refused to name their two new signings. But a report has revealed the identity of the mystery men.
The La Liga giants have struggled recently, but since Xavi has taken the reins, their form has drastically improved. Upon his arrival, the Spaniard set a series of strict rules for the players, including turning up 90-minutes early for training and tracking their off-the-pitch activities. He then bolstered the squad by bringing in Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and now they’ve started flying.
Their style of play has blossomed, and they’ve begun to look like the Barcelona of old. Xavi’s side is on a sensational run, having won their last five league games, the most recent of which was an absolute demolition job against Real Madrid. Barca ran riot at the Bernabeu as they buried four goals past a helpless Thibaut Courtois.
And with their form improving, the Nou Camp has once again become a desirable location for players. So after enduring a very tough financial period, Barca is finally coming out the other side.

Barcelona make two new signings
If the Catalan giants continue to ride their wave of momentum into next season, they could have a very successful campaign, especially considering that they’ve brought in two new signings.
During an interview with RAC1, their chairman, Joan Laporta, announced that he’d secured the services of two new players, but he refused to mention their names.
He said: “We’ve completed two signings for the next season. One is a midfielder. The other one is a centre-back. But I’m not allowed to mention their names.”
His comments could’ve left fans in an agonising wait until the end of the season, but luckily for them, esteemed journalist, Fabrizio Romano, has revealed exactly who the players are.
He tweeted: “Of course, Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen deals are both fully agreed.”
Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen will join Barcelona at the end of the season
The Nou Camp faithful will undoubtedly rejoice in the news that they’ve bagged a pair of talented players. After making over 150 appearances for ‘The Blues’, Christensen is ready to move on. The Champions League-winning defender has fallen out with the Stamford Bridge faithful and therefore will embrace the move wholeheartedly.
Kessie is set to bolster their midfield. The 25-year-old has made an enormous impression at the San Siro while playing for AC Milan. The powerful playmaker is fast becoming one of the world’s best midfielders, and Barca view him as the long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets.
