Cristiano Ronaldo warned about his lack of preparation

Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t have the greatest time at the FIFA World Cup 2026. The superstar failed to deliver on the grandest stage of them all, with Portugal crashing out against Spain in the Last 16 of the competition.

To make matters worse, Lionel Messi has just annihilated Ronaldo in the new global rankings.

WOW: Cristiano Ronaldo’s kryptonite… The legend has never scored against this team

However, with 976 career goals to his name, the icon could cheer himself up by finally hitting four figures. But according to ex-Al-Hilal and Saudi Arabia goalkeeper, Mohamed Al-Deayea, reaching that number won’t be easy, with the 54-year-old warning the Portuguese sensation about his lack of fitness.

During a broadcast, Al-Deayea explained: “Ronaldo has not prepared well for the season. Reaching 1000 goals will require a lot of work, even though he is just 24 goals away from achieving this historic milestone.”

He added: “It requires stamina and a lot of work on the pitch. Of course, he has been training physically recently, but he has reached an age where it is difficult for him to give the team his full level for 90 minutes like he did when he was younger.”

How much money has Cristiano Ronaldo made at Al-Nassr?

Of course, the doubters get under Ronaldo’s skin.

However, the massive amount he gets paid will likely soften the blow.
