Pep Guardiola denies a release clause could result in Erling Haaland leave Manchester City
Reports from Spain claim that as per the terms of the contract he signed with City, the 22-year-old could move to the Bernebeu. Supposedly, the Spanish club could secure the services of the 22-year-old for €200 million in 2024, or €175 million in 2025.
But luckily for City enthusiasts, following their European victory, Guardiola denied the rumours.
As per The Guardian, the Spaniard said: “It’s not true. He has no release clause for Real Madrid or any other team. It’s not true, what can I say? I have the feeling he is pleased here and we will try to make him happy.
“You cannot worry about the rumours, we have to worry about what we can control.”
