FIFA 22’s top ten fastest players revealed

FIFA 22 is just over a week away but already discussion is in abundance, not least the player ratings.

Player ratings are being released and as such, we are able to see the best players for each stat.

One of the most important stats in FIFA is the speed rating – it’s a stat that, if high enough, can make a 74-rated player a decent purchase on FUT or on career mode.

And now the best speedsters in the game have finally been revealed – with some surprise names among in.

Kylian Mbappe will be the fastest player in the game with a scary 97-rated pace. Wolves Adama Traore is just below on 96 along with Alphonso Davies, Daniel James, Leeds’ recent purchase at 95, before PSG’s Acraf Hakimi comes in at 95 as well.

Ismaila Sarr of Watford makes for the third-fastest player in the Premier League, with surprise names Gerrit Holtman and Georges-Kévin Nkoudou also making the grade.

Mbappe booed

Mbappe was recently linked with a move away to Real Madrid – in fact the deal came so close that some Los Blancos fans were convinced that the Frenchman was going to depart.

As a result the former AS Monaco played has been booed by the Parc des Princes crowd.

The France international’s name was initially booed when the official starting lineups were being announced in PSG’s game against Lyon.

His name was then booed just before the start of the game, a Ligue 1 encounter PSG won 2-1 with Lionel Messi famously being snubbed for a penalty before being taken off just before the 80-minute mark.

It become clear following the game, however, that Messi was taken off for a slight knock to his knee, with concerns that the global superstar didn’t take the substitute very well.
