Germany’s answer to Eddie Hearn signs ‘The new Klitschkos’ in a game-changing move

EXCLUSIVE: Florian Winter has signed a pair of brothers so dangerous that fans believe they could become ‘The new Klitschkos’.

The promoter, who’s received comparisons to Eddie Hearn thanks to his palpable charisma and showmanship, is forging a massive reputation for himself in Germany, with Ringside Zone, selling over 10,000 tickets in Mannheim back in May and his next show, Symphony of the Ring, set to deliver a spectacular night of entertainment at Europa-Park – one of Europe’s biggest amusement parks – on November 27.

Florian Winter signs the Ademi brothers

In a dominant era, Vitali Klitschko and Wladimir Klitschko locked down the heavyweight division, with the legends producing many a memorable night for German boxing fans.

And now, decorated amateurs, Endrit Ademi and Ismet Ademi, are ready to do the very same thing, with the pair backed by Florian Winter to emulate the achievements of the famous Ukrainian brothers.

When asked if the Ademis can be as great as the Klitschkos, the Ringside Zone promoter replied: “Definitely. They’re good-looking, strong, and have such a great relationship. I also had two brothers, and I can tell you that the relationship between them is so strong. When you fight against one Ademi brother, it’s like you’re fighting against both of them. This is a game-changer for German boxing.”

In a testament to his rapid growth in the promotional game, Winter was able to fend off interest from the UK and the US to make the major signings.

The entrepreneur enthused: “We had a couple of chats, and I told them that I was sure that they needed to build themselves in their own market, sit themselves in the driver’s seat. I showed them lots of examples of German boxers who went to the US and the UK, and they were good in their sport, but nobody cared because they were the Germans, so I said let’s build here, and then go international — that was the key.”

Florian Winter reveals conversation with Eddie Hearn

With Ringside Zone making waves in Europe, Hearn made the trip to Germany for the promotion’s most recent show. And it’s fair to say the Brit admired what Winter is bringing to the table.

The German beamed: “I have a lot of respect for Eddie. I think he’s a great businessman and someone we can learn a lot from. He told me that Matchroom always have better quality in their shows than the others, and he said that we had the same quality as Matchroom. This is the biggest compliment he could give.

“He was really impressed because he didn’t expect such an audience in the arena. He said, a lot of things, not just to me, but on camera. We talked afterwards about the event and the German market. I think he’s really smart; let’s see what the future brings.”
