Karim Benzema is making an absolute fortune with Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad.
Having proven his status as one of the greatest goal-scorers to have ever laced up a pair of boots, the Frenchman is loving the process of writing the next chapter of his sensational story in the Middle East.
Karim Benzema is getting paid a huge amount of money at Al-Ittihad
During his time at Real Madrid, Karim Benzema did it all, winning five Champions League titles, picking up four La Liga trophies, and scoring a whopping 354 goals.
With talent in abundance, the gifted sportsman showcased unrivalled creativity and flare, developing a reputation for his physical strength and laser-like finishing.
With his legacy in Spain more than assured, he decided to chase more glory, signing for Al-Ittihad in 2023 on a free transfer.
Unsurprisingly, the legend has continued to find the back of the net at his new club, leaving goalkeepers in a state of disarray every time he strikes the ball. And according to Capology, he’s being well paid for his performances on the pitch.
The striker is the best-paid player in his team, making an astonishing weekly salary of £1,612,468. Annually, he receives an astronomical £83 million.
N’Golo Kante is the second highest-paid player at Al-Ittihad
Al-Ittihad is rife with big earners, with the club boasting a star-studded line-up. However, nobody else in the team comes close to making what Benzema does. Currently, N’Golo Kante is the second-highest paid player, earning an impressive £403,117 a week and £20,962,078 per year.
