WWE superstars, including Cody Rhodes, take over Clash of Clans ahead of Wrestlemania 41

WWE superstars featuring Cody Rhodes, The Undertaker and Rhea Ripley, have made a massive splash in Clash of Clans, with the trio of legends featuring in the game alongside other icons throughout April.

The multi-layered partnership between the popular mobile game and the world’s premier wrestling organization will culminate in an enhanced match sponsorship on the grandest stage of them all — WrestleMania 41.

In a dream come true for fans of WWE and Clash of Clans, two worlds have collided with some of the biggest names in the sport today, being reimagined as iconic characters from the game.

Throughout April, gamers can enjoy an array of WWE-themed features, including themed environments, gameplay events, cosmetics and Easter Eggs.

And while the news is exciting for fans, one man who’s as enthusiastic about the partnership as anyone is Undisputed WWE world champion, Cody Rhodes, who’s been reimagined as Barbarian King.

When the icon isn’t participating in exhilarating matches inside the ring, he’s playing Clash of Clans himself, with the wrestler, who goes by the ‘OverlordRhodes’ player handle, having proven his skills in the game beyond doubt, by earning a place in the top 10% of players worldwide.

The 39-year-old beamed: “I’ve spent years building my legacy in WWE, but it’s time for fans to know where I’ve landed most of my victories, in Clash of Clans. As OverlordRhodes, I don’t defend, I conquer. Villages will fall, and any opposition will be crushed under my command. This isn’t about playing fair in the ring, it’s about ruling the battlefield. Just like at WrestleMania 41, I’m stepping in with one goal – absolute victory. I’ve waited a long time for this moment, and now that I’ve arrived, there’s no stopping me.
