How tall is Omos? Here is a breakdown of how the WWE giant compares to other wrestling big men, past and present.
Omos has quickly gained a reputation as one of the most feared wrestlers in the WWE. His height is the main reason for that.
On June 5, ‘The Nigerian Giant’ and MVP will be teaming up to take on Bobby Lashley at Hell in a Cell. It is the final act of their trilogy of premium live event matches. Lashley defeated his rival at WrestleMania 38, whilst Omos took the win at WrestleMania Backlash.
Unfortunately for Lashley, he also has Omos’ manager to worry about. MVP defeated ‘The All Mighty’ on Monday Night Raw via countout. The former United States Champion was therefore allowed to choose the stipulation.
Omos’ basketball career
Before becoming a wrestler, Omos was a basketball player. From 2014 to 2015, he played college basketball for the University of South Florida and Morgan State University.
He was signed to the WWE in 2019, and his height makes him an intimidating opponent for almost every superstar he faces
How tall is Omos?
Omos is one of the most fearsome Superstars ever to set foot in a WWE ring – but how tall actually is he?
The 25-year-old stands at a massive 7ft 3in tall. That is a whole two inches taller than the Great Khali. He also has a billed weight of 399lbs, which adds to his monstrous aura.
Standing at this height, Omos is fourth on the all-time wrestling height list. Wrestlers such as Giant Gonzalez, Paul Bunyan and Andre the Giant are above Omos in the standings.
Let’s take a look at some of the wrestling giants Omos compares to:
Andre the Giant
Andre the Giant is the standout name when you consider gargantuan wrestlers. The 7ft 4in superstar weighed 520 lbs, which made him an imposing proposition for any of his opponents.
The Great Khali
Another giant wrestler on the list is The Great Khali. Famous for his Punjabi Prison bout with Batista, Khali stood at 7”1. In addition to his height, Khali’s ‘Vice Grip’ finisher was a terrifying prospect for his fellow superstars. It was just as horrific for viewers!
The Big Show
The clue is in the name. Big Show was huge. One of the most famous wrestlers of all time, the Big Show was 7ft tall and weighed an incredible 485lbs.
You definitely didn’t want to be on the end of his chokeslam, or his famous knockout punch.
The Undertaker
The Undertaker is another iconic wrestler famed for his size. All 6ft 10in of him was an intimidating prospect to whoever stood across the ring from him.
What was perhaps most surprising about The Undertaker was that he was unexpectedly agile, despite his height.
