Jake Paul gets rinsed for his boxing technique during streamed session

YouTuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul has received criticism for his boxing technique during a recently released training session.

The story of Jake Paul has swept through the combat sports world in the last twelve months with many noting just how much his star power has grown in such a short space of time. That may not mean much to some given that his record includes wins over a fellow YouTuber, former NBA star Nate Robinson and ex-MMA fighter Ben Askren, but the fact that his next opponent is one of the greatest UFC welterweights of all time has struck a chord for many.

When will Jake Paul earn some respect?

Tyron Woodley is known for his big right hand and he’s hoping to use that to his advantage when stepping into the ring against Jake Paul later this month. Of course, the size factor needs to be taken into consideration here, with many still believing Paul is the favourite.

Alas, that hasn’t stopped some from picking on his boxing form in the replies of the following clip.

“Jake still has no clue how to box. That right hand is atrocious. Hands down, doesn’t bring his guard back up. It’s slow and telegraphed. As soon as he fights a boxer he’s done. Even an amateur boxer would mail him.”

“I’d recommend some boxing lessons. They’re not that expensive and you can learn a few basic things like how to throw a right cross.”

“You can tell the gap and difference between the form and technique of a champ and an amateur.. But the gap and difference in their purses :/”

Whether you like him or hate him, many are still going to tune in to see what “The Problem Child” can produce in his fourth professional fight.

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley is set to take place on August 29 in Cleveland, Ohio.
