Jake Paul might enter the cage in the not too distant future if his response to Khabib Nurmagomedov is anything to go by.
The controversial YouTuber has taken the boxing world storm over the past year. Irrespective of how much talent he possesses, his personality alone has captivated the public on a massive scale. Fight fans all around the globe are desperate to tune in and watch him, even if, in most cases, it is to see him lose. Just like a true heel. However, that is yet to happen.
The 25-year-old has knocked out two massive UFC names in Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, and he’s used those performances to belittle the sport of MMA. This has aggravated combat sports enthusiasts who are desperate to see Paul set foot in the cage. And now their wish might get granted, as the American has begun to tease a potential bout in the Octagon.

‘The Problem Child’ to make MMA switch?
Paul has taken every opportunity possible to slate the UFC. He’s butchered their health care and slated their fighter pay. But in recent times, he’s begun to tease the possibility of a fight in the promotion itself. We don’t know whether his interest is genuine but, regardless, people are talking about it.
He attached a picture of a weight-drained Conor McGregor and explained why he’d like to fight at 185 pounds in a recent tweet.
He said: “Dana White, when I make my MMA debut, I could cut 20 pounds and do it at welterweight/170 pounds. That’s what all UFC fighters do and have destroyed their bodies and minds doing it. But I’m going to do it at middleweight (185). Health first.
Although he claims he’s willing to fight in the premier MMA promotion, it’s unlikely to come to fruition. His relationship with president Dana White is frosty at best.
In a recent video, he unleashed his fury on the businessman.
He said: “You are the f***ing definition of an unhappy billionaire. You are one of the most selfish capitalistic mother f*****s I’ve ever seen. Everyone else needs you, Dana, but I don’t. You’ve met your maker. I’m not going to stop.”

Therefore, the odds of Paul and White working together are slim to none. But if he does have the ambition to fight in MMA, there are plenty of other organisations where he could showcase his skills.
Jake Paul and Khabib Nurmagomedov to work together?
Love him or hate him, ‘The Problem Child’ generates cash. According to the Daily Mirror, the Cleveland native earned $40 million in 2021. However, he claims that the whopping figure is below the actual number. Therefore, it is no surprise that an all-time great is interested in working with him.
UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov has publicly offered the ex-Disney star a place in his new promotion. And the YouTuber has given an exciting response.
He simply replied: “Deal. Only if I fight you first.”
Paul surely would not fight the Russian in the cage. That would no doubt end badly. But once again, it’s perfect marketing for the controversial boxer.
Khabib’s proposal makes a lot of sense for both men. The former lightweight champion could use Paul’s drawing power to generate a buzz for his promotion. And the YouTuber could aggravate MMA fans even further by beating men who couldn’t make it in the UFC.
