Jake Paul makes insane financial offer to Will Smith and Chris Rock for boxing match

Will Smith has made headlines everywhere after slapping Chris Rock during the Oscars. As a result, Jake Paul has offered a huge sum for the pair to settle their differences in the ring.

The incident came about after Chris Rock made a joke that referenced Jada Pinkett-Smith’s alopecia. Will Smith was angered by the joke about his wife, so proceeded to get on stage and slap Chris Rock.

Rock, who was hosting the awards evening, tried to play it off in front of the stunned audience as Smith shouted at him upon returning to his seat.

This crazy scene caused a social media frenzy, leading to a rush of memes.

Reaction to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock

The internet never fails to amaze in its creativity for laughs. Reaction to Smith’s slap included clips of Jose Mourinho, Roy Keane and even David Brent.

In the sporting world, the wrestling community found the incident very funny, as did UFC president Dana White. White was mostly pleased that something interesting had finally livened up the mundane ceremony. He tweeted: “FINALLY!!!! There’s an Oscars show worth watching. AND Chris Rock has a chin.”

Now, YouTuber and part-time boxer Jake Paul looks like he wants Chris Rock to test his chin again in a boxing match against Will Smith.

Jake Paul’s massive offer

Like all of us, Jake Paul took to Twitter upon seeing the hit. Responding to a tweet asking how much Paul would offer Rock and Smith to box each other, the YouTuber came up with an astronomical figure.

“I got $15 million for Will Smith and $15 million for Chris Rock ready to go,” he tweeted. “Let’s do it in August on my undercard.”

The huge sum would surely grab the attention of most of us. However, the fight may not interest the pair. Chris Rock’s net worth is estimated at $60 million, and Will Smith’s at a whopping $350 million. Therefore, they may not want to put their reputations on the line despite the high fee.

The tweet also appears to confirm that Jake Paul will be back in the ring this summer.

With a fight in August all but confirmed, speculation has begun on who Paul will fight next. Former World Champion Andy Lee has put forward Sonny Bill Williams. The New Zealand native, who has won the Rugby World Cup, has a 9-0 professional record. A phenomenal athlete, Williams would provide a tough test for Paul, who is unbeaten himself.

Whoever Paul chooses as his next opponent remains to be seen. If he can somehow get two Hollywood A-listers on the undercard, he can create one heck of a show.
