Jorge Masvidal unleashed a verbal tirade on Leon Edwards during a recent interview as their UFC 269 meeting approaches.
Two and a half years after their infamous “three-piece & a soda” altercation at UFC London in March 2019, Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards will finally meet at UFC 269 in the final UFC pay-per-view of the year. The two top welterweight contenders have been vying for the opportunity to square off inside the octagon ever since that night with Edwards, in particular, wanting to gain a measure of revenge for the embarrassment that was inflicted on him by “Gamebred” in the capital.
Earlier that evening, Edwards was able to pick up a nice win over Gunnar Nelson with Masvidal knocking out Darren Till in the main event. When they met backstage things got physical and after Edwards gave his own version of events, Masvidal decided to set the record straight when speaking to Ariel Helwani.

“Who the f*** are you? Bro, I punched you in front of all your f***ing co-workers, best friends, it was just me by my f***ing self – it’s all on video. There was like five or six people, what happened to me? Absolutely nothing. Get the f*** out of my face.”
While Edwards is coming off the back of a nice decision win over Nate Diaz, Masvidal needs to prove to the masses that he’s still an elite 170-pounder after being knocked out by Kamaru Usman earlier this year.
One way or the other, we’ll get some answers on December 11.
