Kevin Nash claims that Vince McMahon wanted to join The Kliq

Kevin Nash has revealed that, due to their power in the 90s, even Vince McMahon wanted to get in The Kliq.

The infamous super group featuring legends Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and, of course, Nash ran the show in the world of wrestling. They worked together to make storylines and generate countless opportunities for each other. This ultimately helped them all enjoy huge success in the company.

Of course, some superstars despised the group. Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, for example, opened up on his opinion during an appearance on ‘Talk is Jericho‘.

He said: “It’s real simple, man, the inmates are running the asylum, The Kliq. The Kliq nearly killed the business. Everybody says how great they were, well let me tell you something, they drove it to the ground, whatever.”

The superstars involved in the group generated such significance that even the most powerful man in the business had to take notice.

Kevin Nash talks about Vince McMahon wanting to join The Kliq

On the first episode of the ‘Kliq This’ podcast, Nash opened up on a conversation he had with the infamous businessman and didn’t pull any punches.

As transcribed by Wrestling Inc, the legend explained: “He walked in and goes, ‘Let me ask you guys f***ing something right now. What’s the deal with this f***ing Kliq?’ We just sat there like, ‘Oh, f***.’ This is a different tone than he’s ever taken.”

“[Vince said] ‘Because, God damm*t, I want in.’ And we all looked at him and laughed. We said, ‘You love the business, man, you’re in.’ He basically kind of told us, ‘You guys are busting your a**** coming up with sh**.’ We didn’t just come up with sh** for ourselves, we came up with sh** for other guys too.”
