Kylian Mbappe caused something a mini-riot by taunting Metz goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja after PSG’s late winner last night.
In what turned out to be a scrappy and intense affair we saw Paris Saint-Germain go through about as much adversity as they’ve faced all season. They were locked at 1-1 with Metz on Wednesday with a parade of tough challenges and fun passages of play making up the last half hour, and then, Achraf Hakimi popped up with a 95th-minute winner to send the travelling PSG fans into a state of pure pandemonium.
Drama in Ligue 1
With their players wheeling away in celebration it appeared as if that was going to be the final act of the game but instead, the aforementioned Mbappe taunted Oukidja as he was coming to terms with what had happened.
Instead of letting it go, the goalkeeper followed Mbappe to the corner flag and proceeded to argue with all of the PSG players that had congregated after the goal went in.
Oukidja was clearly outnumbered but didn’t seem to care all too much about that, although he didn’t quite manage to get the last laugh with that honour instead of going to Neymar who shoved him to the ground.
The whole thing was pretty over the top but in the end, all that matters in the record books is that PSG got the win and the three points.
P.S: If this has taught us one thing it’s that messing with Neymar probably isn’t the best of ideas.
