Robert Lewandowski continued his freakish run of form in Bayern’s 3-3 draw with Arminia last night.
With his side 2-0 down at the time, Lewandowski latched on to a floated pass forward from David Alaba, perfectly catching the ball on his chest.
Without giving the surrounding Arminia defenders a moment to react, the Polish forward unleashed a fearsome volley which had nestled in the net before the goalkeeper Stefan Ortega had even moved.

Before the goal, it seemed 16th placed Arminia were on-course to pull off the ultimate upset.
Michel Vlap put the visitors ahead inside nine minutes, before Amos Pieper doubled their talley. Lewandowski halved the lead, before Christan Gebauer restored his side’s two-goal advantage.
However the champions fought back to snatch a point thanks to goals from Corentin Tolisso and another sweetly struck volley from Alpohonso Davies.
That is some finish from Alphonso Davies ⚡️
