Former boxer Floyd Mayweather and YouTube-star turned fighter Logan Paul have announced plans to compete against each other in an exhibition boxing match on June 6.
The pair will face off at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, as per an announcement from Mayweather’s Instagram page today. The proposed fight had been postponed from its original February date.
“Mayweather Promotions, Fanmio and Showtime Boxing have come together to bring an epic event,” wrote Mayweather on IG.
The former athlete, whose record stands at an impressive 50-0, last competed in a bout back in 2017, when he took on Conor McGregor in the ring and won.
Paul, meanwhile, has a record of 0-1, following the loss to KSI in a rematch, and so will be hoping to finally prove his worth in front of his global audience. He has 22million subscribers on YouTube alone.
