The football legend featured in his nation’s 1-0 victory against Panama at the BMO Field in Toronto, Canada.

Luka Modric makes 200th appearance for Croatia

In his career, Luka Modric has achieved an incredible amount. The player, renowned for his ability to pick out the perfect pass has won four La Liga titles, six UEFA Champions Leagues and a Ballon d’Or for good measure.

However, the superstar hasn’t just performed in the club game, but on the international stage as well, with the all-time great helping guide his side to a historic World Cup final in 2018, in which they dumped England out of the competition in the penultimate match.

20 years after playing in the biggest tournament in all of sports in Germany back in 2006, Modric made his 200th appearance for his country.

When he was substituted off the pitch, the crowd gave a loud reception to the gifted sportsman to show their appreciation for everything he has done.
