Wayne Rooney says Harry Kane didn’t get his head over the ball

However, on Tuesday evening, he couldn’t deliver the brilliance everyone expects from him, with the superstar smashing, what would’ve usually been an easy opportunity, high over the bar.

Following the game, Kane explained why he thinks he didn’t score, and in addition, Wayne Rooney also gave his thoughts.

During the BBC broadcast, the Liverpudlian claimed: “He just doesn’t get his head over the ball. I’m not going to give Harry Kane advice, but he keeps his head back and he leans back a little bit, and instead of getting his head over the ball and closing his body up, he leans back and that’s why it goes over.”
