Nate Diaz has given his thoughts on older brother Nick potentially making his return to competitive mixed martial arts.
Nick hasn’t been seen inside the octagon since back in January 2015 when he lost via unanimous decision to Anderson Silva.
Now, all these years later, UFC president Dana White has confirmed that the promotion is hoping to get him back inside the octagon before the end of the year.
The Diaz brothers – together again?
That news has served as music to the ears of all those wanting to see the great Nick Diaz return, although some are more cautious and want to wait a bit longer before getting their hopes up.
Nate Diaz, the younger brother of Nick, spoke about the comeback proposal during the UFC 263 post-fight press conference.
“Yeah, it’s good that the world’s moving again, and s*** is getting back to normal,” Diaz said. “So, if my brother is around me, that’s the best thing that could happen.

“That’s the greatest fighter of all time as far as I am concerned.” He proclaimed.
Diaz went on to make it clear that he wants to fight alongside his brother now that they both appear to be getting active again.
“So, whenever he’s going to make that move and whenever they want to make that move and make something big with him, then there’s nothing better you can see in [mixed] martial arts.
“I’m gonna ride the momentum with him and fight next, the same way we’ve always done it with the whole team, the Cesar Gracie fight team.
“So, if that’s gonna happen, I think that’s the best news for MMA.”
Nate Diaz finally made his own return to the UFC last Saturday night in a unanimous decision loss to top welterweight contender Leon Edwards – although he did manage to rock \Rocky’ with one minute left of the fight.
