Manchester United has set its sights on securing the signature of a Newcastle United player.

Having come on leaps and bounds under Michael Carrick last season, the club is gearing up for a massive 2026/27 campaign.

Manchester United wants Lewis Hall

According to reports, Manchester United believe they have the ability to bring Lewis Hall to Old Trafford.

Throughout the transfer window, the formerly great side has gone above and beyond to bolster its midfield, securing the signatures of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans. And they’re not done with bringing in big names just yet.

As good as Luke Shaw performed last season, there are concerns that his injuries could prove problematic in the future.

According to Graeme Bailey at TEAMtalk: “A left-back remains a priority and they still want a versatile forward, although Marcus Rashford’s situation and what happens with Joshua Zirkzee will have a huge bearing on that.”

While the Newcastle United player is supposedly interested in the possibility of moving to one of the most famous clubs on the planet, there’s still a major hurdle to jump over.

Bailey continued: “As TEAMtalk revealed, Lewis Hall is top of their list, and United remain convinced he’d be open to moving to Old Trafford.

“The problem is Newcastle have absolutely no desire to sell him, so while Hall remains the dream option, they’re continuing to assess alternatives.”
