Pep Guardiola left fans stunned with the match he was watching rather than PSG vs Bayern Munich

While most of the world tuned into PSG vs Bayern Munich, Pep Guardiola was watching an entirely different fixture.

Tonight, the elite teams produced an absolutely exceptional game, with PSG emerging 5-4 victors in one of the most dramatic fixtures the tournament has ever seen. It’s just a pity that arguably the greatest mind in footballing history didn’t catch a second of it.

While Pep Guardiola would’ve undoubtedly enjoyed every second of watching the titanic clash that captivated the world this evening, it looks like he was enjoying the action at Edgeley Park.

Despite sitting high up the table in fourth place, Stockport County succumbed to a surprise 2-1 defeat to Port Vale, who sit in a concerning 22nd place in the table.

Upon seeing the legendary manager on TV, fans were quick to head to social media to react.

One said:  “Bro is doing side quests whilst beating Arsenal to the title,” while a second added: “Pep Guardiola is at League One’s Stockport County-Port Vale match on a Champions League night. A proper English manager.”

A third posted: “Everyone’s eyes are on the Champions League semi-final tonight… Pep Guardiola is watching Stockport County against Port Vale.”

With City heading to Goodison Park for a massive game with Everton on Monday evening, it remains to be seen whether the Spaniard will have picked anything up from Port Vale’s triumphant performance.
