Ric Flair and Triple H are undeniably two of the best ever to do it. But despite years of incredible battles, the pair of legends no longer speak.
They both enjoyed massive success throughout the 2000s as they tore apart the Raw roster with Evolution. Alongside Randy Orton and Batista, they monopolised the brand’s belts, picking up the World Heavyweight Championship, The Intercontinental title and the Tag Team belts for good measure.
Eventually, the entire group buried the hatchet and reunited to celebrate the 1000th episode of Smackdown. Flair and Triple H were friends for a long time outside of the ring but it appears as though their bond has weakened.
Ric Flair comments on his relationship with Triple H
Despite their onscreen rivalry, it was evident that the WWE icons shared an extraordinary level of chemistry.
Although they always performed to an excellent standard, they managed to bring an even higher level of intensity when they wrestled with each other.
Over the years, we presumed they had a close relationship. In 2008, Triple H inducted the 16-time world champion into the Hall of Fame. But in the latest edition of WOOOOO Nation Uncensored, Flair revealed the truth. When asked if the former D Generation X member had been cut from the company, he gave a scathing answer.
As transcribed by Wrestling News.co, the American said: “I have no idea. He and I were incredibly close, and now I never hear from him, so I don’t know.”

When did we last see these men?
The 73-year-old called time on his almost four-decade-long career in the WWE in August 2021. He requested that the company release him from his contract. The icon made a statement explaining that he and WWE had different visions over his future. Flair allegedly didn’t like his storyline with Lacey Evans.
Meanwhile, Triple H hasn’t competed since losing to Randy Orton in 2019. And we’re unlikely to ever see him compete again due to heart issues. But fans hope that he’ll grace the WWE Universe in some way very soon.
