EXCLUSIVE: Cris Cyborg is blessed with many talents, with the Brazilian icon set to showcase her fearsome fighting skills at Crypto Fight Night: Off Chain, before heading back home to play the guitar for her parrot, Jose.
Tomorrow evening, the combat sports legend will set London’s Indigo at The O2 alight with her first-ever appearance on UK soil, as she goes toe-to-toe with her nemesis, Aria Wild. But while she’s renowned for her brutal array of punches and kicks, behind her fearsome aura stands a kindhearted woman who loves nothing more than spending time with her pet.
Cris Cyborg adores playing the guitar for her parrot
In her remarkable career, the 38-year-old has proven herself as one of the greatest fighters to ever set foot in the cage. Blessed with awe-inspiring power and freakish athleticism, Cyborg strikes fear into the heart of any woman who dares set foot in the cage with her.
And having conquered both the UFC and Bellator, the decorated sportswoman has set her sights on lighting up the world of boxing, with every intention of finishing Wild before setting her sights on the big players on the international scene.
Thus, with so much aggression coursing through her veins, when Cyborg isn’t in camp, she likes to unwind by whipping out her guitar and emulating Lauryn Hill for her favourite baby bird, who’s even starting to sing himself.

In an exclusive interview with Sporf, she laughed: “I have an African Grey parrot. He is just five months old. I started learning the piano, but the guitar is easier for me. When I’m at home, I love having those moments to myself. I praise the Lord. I love it. He’s still young, but he’s starting to pick it up and learn a little bit.”
However, while the fighter will look forward to reuninting with her pal, she’s currently focused on a massive collision tomorrow night, as she looks to settle the beef with a woman, who’s looking to use her scalp to propel herself into global superstardom.
Cris Cyborg is looking to secure a finish over Aria Wild at Crypto Fight Night: Off Chain
Throughout her legendary career, British fans have desperately craved an opportunity to watch Cyborg perform in person, and now they finally have their chance.
In front of a packed house at Crypto Fight Night Off Chain, the trailblazer will put it all on the line against a woman who’s crossed over from the influencer world. But while some may underestimate Wild, Cyborg knows that she has an extremely tough task on her hands.
The phenom explained: “It takes a lot of courage to enter the ring. I have respect for her. She’s been training a lot.”
But while the 145-pound Bellator Queen holds her opponent in high regard, after being the target of the social media star’s trash talk, she doesn’t intend to let the bout go the distance.
The power puncher claimed: “I’m going to be working hard in all the rounds. I never have a plan for exactly when I’m going to finish the fight. So, let’s feel the fight and then see what happens. The KO comes when you don’t see the punch coming, and that’s what’s going to happen.”
With her legacy on the line, Cyborg is willing to do whatever it takes to secure an all-important victory in front of the UK fans who have long-awaited the chance to watch her emerge victorious in the flesh.
