Tottenham fans have reacted to the news that Harry Kane will officially be staying at the club this summer.
For weeks now Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been walking on eggshells in anticipation of what may or may not happen regarding the future of Harry Kane. The Englishman has seemingly been unhappy for quite some time now and while he did make an appearance during Spurs’ win over Wolves last Sunday, the expectation was still that he’d favour a move to Manchester City.
The kid is back
Now, through one quick social media post, Kane has confirmed that he’ll be staying in North London beyond the closure of the transfer window.
In turn, Spurs fans have given their reaction to the news on Twitter – and it’s safe to say they’re pretty happy.
Kane has been forgiven in a split second by us Spurs fans and I wouldn't want it any other way ??#OneOfOurOwn pic.twitter.com/id2AlpP5ud

A reminder that Daniel Levy is doing what is best for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club by keeping Harry Kane.

If Manchester City made the RIGHT offer, Kane could have gone.
But they didn't, in fact, they didn't even get close.
The blame is being aimed at the wrong party. https://t.co/rYjRVdXRJ3

Still, I can’t help but feel like our club legend has lost a tiny fraction of that legend status in previous weeks. #COYS pic.twitter.com/i5oMX3Qfcj

We’re bound to see backlash and mockery from neutrals who believe Daniel Levy has forced Kane into staying with the club but either way, the Tottenham faithful will be happy to see their main man pull on that famous white shirt again this season.
Nuno Espirito Santo, in particular, will be over the moon to have Kane available as an option, and he confirmed as much during a media appearance on Wednesday.
“Fantastic news. I think since Harry joined us he has been working so this is what we value. His attitude in training has been excellent.”
“It’s finished, Harry is going to be with us. He is an option for tomorrow. It is great news for everybody. We are all very happy one of the best players in the world. Delighted to have one more option for the season ahead of us.”
Kane is expected to feature in some capacity on Sunday when Tottenham host Watford in the Premier League.
