It’s the grandest stage in club football and the Champions League final has provided us with some of the most gripping, jaw-dropping and memorable footballing moments of all time.
Tonight some of the best attacking talents in the game will be pitted against each other, as Bayern Munich look to continue their dominant season, while PSG look to break their duck of never having won the competition.
Just in case you somehow weren’t yet feeling up for the game, we’ve got just the thing.
We’ve picked out six of the greatest final goals from down the years, from acrobatic efforts to individual brilliance.
Hernan Crespo – AC Milan v Liverpool (2005)
It’s criminal that this goal gets (understandably) forgotten about due to Liverpool’s heroics that night. Every time we watch it back though, few phases of play sum up the brilliance of Kaká so perfectly – the dummy, the inch-perfect pass, good lord.

David Villa – Barcelona vs Manchester United (2011)
Barcelona put on one of THE great final performances against Manchester United and David Villa’s delicious effort was a fitting way to round off the evening for Pep’s side.

Mario Mandžukić – Juventus vs Real Madrid (2017)
This is another that sadly gets lost in the memory since Juventus went on to learn 4-1. It’s a real shame, the technical ability and composure Mandžukić showed on the biggest stage is sublime.

Dejan Savicevic – AC Milan vs Barcelona (1994)
After forcing Miguel Angel Nadal into a mistake, Dejan Savicevic spotted the keeper off his line and, well, you can see exactly how things went from there.

Zinedine Zidane – Real Madrid vs Bayer Leverkusen (2002)
It admittedly feels a little wrong not having this as number one. Still to this day, it’s the poster-goal of the Champions League. The ball dropping from the heavens, Zidane’s body shape, everything about it just screams class – and we’d expect nothing less from one of the true geniuses of the game.

Gareth Bale – Real Madrid vs Liverpool (2018)
Still don’t understand this goal. Don’t think we ever will. How on earth does he do it?
