We’re big fans of the Pharrell x Adidas collaboration!

It’s 2020 so time for another curveball.

This time is everyones favourite happy rapper, now turned football kit designer Pharrell to get his chops round some of european football’s most iconic kits.

All the shirts have the same flavour. Tie dye meets a primary school art project based on 4 classic kits.

If you were wearing one, at a squinting distance, your mates may just think you have landed your hand on a stone cold football shirt classic!

Overall, I’m warming to them.

Fun Fact: While we will only see Real Madrid, Arsenal and Man Utd wear theirs pre-game, Juventus and Bayern Munich will actually wear these for a match in the next week.

Fancy a cheeky discount on them?

Move quickly as these are expected to be popular!

There is also some other decent items from this collection, including some smart track jackets, or pick up the whole kit for the full kit w*nker style if that’s your vibe – we’re not judging.

These kits are part of Pharrell’s long term collaboration with Adidas on his Human Race project with their take on football designed to “demonstrate football is for everyone and the human race at its best, uniting together while celebrating our differences.’

A lovely sentiment for sure, but lets get into the kits.

Arsenal

This is a take on the iconic bruised banana, and its a reasonable effort.

It’s fun and i’d wear it. 8/10

Juventus

Next up is Juventus with a version of their now iconic 2016 pink away kit.

The original is just too good so this plays 2nd fiddle, but still not bad. 6.5/10.

Bayern Munich

I’m not going to lie, its my least favourite of the bunch. I can’t get over the white patches on the front that look like i’ve just been dragged by my mum to help paint the bathroom. 6/10

Real Madrid

Real Madrid’s representative is the occasionally overlooked 2014/15 Yanamoto kit, with the iconic dragon across the front. With Pharrell not really giving the badge much effort here, I can’t help but think he did this one in a desperate attempt tp clock off on Friday afternoon. 7/10

Manchester United

Of course based on their stunning 1990-1992 away kit, this is another nice effort.

Bag this one now and whip it out for the beach when the summer comes. 7.5/10
