Dillian Whyte has called out Tyson Fury for not helping Billy Joe Saunders’ father in a ringside altercation.
Last Saturday night, Saunders was beaten by Canelo Alvarez after an eighth round corner retirement due to an eye socket injury. BJS put up a solid fight against the Mexican sensation but in the end, the severity of his injury proved meant the end of his evening.
After the fight was stopped, his father Tom Saunders decided to try and leap over the barrier at ringside to see how his son was doing. That subsequently led to security pushing him backwards, beginning an altercation between the security team and members of the Saunders camp.
Whyte goes after Fury
After footage was released of what happened, Whyte was quick to criticise Fury for not doing more as things unfolded.

Fury is currently locked in negotiations with Anthony Joshua’s team as the two British icons prepare to meet in a superfight this summer. Many hoped it would take place at Wembley Stadium in London, but Saudi Arabia now appears to be the decided location.
As for Dillian Whyte, his future still seems to be up in the air – although a bout against either Andy Ruiz or Deontay Wilder has been rumoured.
