WrestleMania is one of the most exciting events in sporting entertainment – and this year’s ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ is undoubtedly going to be no different.
A title unification bout between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar headlines night two of the card. It will culminate a feud that began upon Lesnar’s return to WWE at SummerSlam last August.
Meanwhile, Becky Lynch will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair. It is a rivalry that also dates back to SummerSlam, when Lynch returned to WWE and defeated Belair in 26 seconds to win the title.

Charlotte Flair defends her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey. Edge, meanwhile, faces AJ Styles in another standout match. There is also a special edition of the ‘KO Show’, featuring host Kevin Owens and his guest, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

On the tag scene, Carmella and Queen Zelina defend their Raw Women’s Tag Team Championship belts in a Fatal-Four-Way tag team match. The other teams involved are Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, Natalya and Shayna Baszler, and Sasha Banks and Naomi.
Another match that has provided fans with intrigue is Rey and Dominik Mysterio against The Miz and Logan Paul.
Paul is one of two celebrities currently scheduled to compete in this year’s event. The social media personality, who fought against Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition boxing match last year, will step into the ring for a competitive match for the first time.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at five of the craziest celebrity appearances at WrestleMania:
Kim Kardashian
This may seem hard to believe for newer WWE viewers, but yes, reality star Kim Kardashian once appeared at WrestleMania.
She was the Hostess of WrestleMania in 2008. That was when Undertaker defeated Edge to extend his streak to 16-0. Floyd Mayweather, meanwhile, defeated Big Show, whilst CM Punk won the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Kardashian was there to soak up the action, and even introduced the annual MITB match. It was one of the most shocking celebrity WrestleMania appearances in history – and her career has gone from strength to strength in the years since.
Mike Tyson
The ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ was at a crossroads shortly before he embarked on a stint in the WWE in 1998. After the infamous Evander Holyfield ‘ear bite’ incident, he had seen his boxing licence rescinded.
After engaging in an incredible promo with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin on an edition of Raw, Tyson booked his ticket to WrestleMania 14. He was the ‘special enforcer’ for the WWF Championship between Austin and defending champion Shawn Michaels.

Shockingly, however, ‘Iron Mike’ turned on Michaels and helped Austin to win with a quick count after the referee was taken out of action. Tyson then knocked out the ‘Heartbreak Kid’ for good measure.
Pamela Anderson and Jenny McCarthy
Another surreal celebrity WrestleMania appearance was that of Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.
Already a world star due to her leading role in the hit American action-adventure series, Anderson accompanied Diesel to the ring at WrestleMania 15 for his match against Shawn Michaels.
Fellow actress and model Jenny McCarthy was also present at ringside. After he defeated Michaels, Diesel invited the duo into the ring to celebrate with him.
Ozzy Osbourne
The lead vocalist of legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, appeared at the second edition of WrestleMania in 1986.
He accompanied the British Bulldogs to the WWE ring for their match against the Dream Team. With the event taking place at three venues simultaneously, Osbourne presided over the main event in Chicago. The British Bulldogs won the match via pinfall.
Osbourne proudly reminisced on the occasion with a throwback post on his Twitter account two years ago.
Floyd Mayweather Jr
The last spot on this list is reserved for a celebrity that competed in a WrestleMania match – and won.
Floyd Mayweather took on Big Show in a No Disqualification match at the ‘Show of Shows’. The unbeaten professional boxer was victorious after using brass knuckles to knock out his opponent.
A month earlier, he had legitimately broken his future opponent’s nose to build up hype for their match.

Big Show told The Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast in 2017: “I told Floyd to break my nose. If he didn’t do something huge that night, our angle was dead in the water.
“I’d spent a whole year messing around the ring boxing, so I knew he knew how to break my nose without shoving it through the back of my head. It was awesome.”
