Harry Kane has just produced a moment of magic for England at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

‘The Three Lions’ were in serious trouble until the Bayern Munich star rose to the occasion.

Harry Kane scores incredible goal for England against DR Congo

Going into tonight’s match at the Atlanta Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, England were monumental favourites. However, their African rivals weren’t there to lie down.

Reminding ‘The Three Lions’ of exactly what they were up against, after being left completely unmarked, Brian Cipenga beat Jordan Pickford to put DR Congo 1-0 up against England.

To their credit, the underdogs battled hard, with the side almost unlocking a place in the Last 16. However, England, and most notably, Harry Kane, weren’t going away without a fight.

In the 75th minute, the striker found himself on the end of a cross which he beautifully steered into the back of the net.

The goal broke the heart of the Congolese players, and opened the door for Kane to find the winner.

Showcasing utter brilliance, in the 86th minute, the Englishman worked the ball onto his right foot before smashing it from an almost impossible angle into the back of the net.

The goal sent not just the crowd into raptures, but fans online as well, with many voicing their opinions on social media.

One said: “Harry Kane is the best player in the world this season,” while another added: “Harry Kane coming up big for England. That last goal was phenomenal.”

A third enthused: “What a player. What a game. What a captain. What a goal. What a comeback. Harry Kane is who he thinks he is. Absolutely beautiful scenes in Atlanta.”

A fourth wrote: “We never doubt Harry Kane.”
