Harlem Eubank wants a world title fight rather than Conor Benn

While Harlem Eubank would love the opportunity to avenge his cousin, Chris Eubank Jr. and defeat ‘The Destroyer’, in his eyes, if he can get past his opponent this weekend, he’s moving on to bigger and better things.

In an exclusive interview with Sporf, the welterweight contender explained: “I think it’s a comfortable fight for me. After this, I’m looking to fight for a world title, and that’s what I’ll be turning my attention to. The Conor Benn fight is a British-level fight, and this fight here will set me up for world title honours.”

Harlem Eubank can’t wait to see what Gladius has to offer

With boxing growing at a rapid rate, Gladius have gotten involved to try and make the sport even more exciting for the fans by implementing technology that can track how hurt someone is, which celebrities are in the crowd, what injuries have been sustained, and so much more. And it’s fair to say Eubank is very intrigued by how this will shape the future of the fight game.

The 32-year-old enthused: “It sounds like it’s going to be a nice piece of interactive tech that the fans can get involved with. People can get more engaged with what’s going on in the ring, and it will help them to understand where the fighters are at and what’s going on. It’s going to be a great night. It’s going to be interesting to see the role the tech takes on during the night. I’m excited for it.”
