Liverpool agree £123M deal for Bradley Barcola

Liverpool have come to terms with PSG to bring Bradley Barcola to Merseyside.

After working out the majority of the finer details, by Friday, all that was left to do was to finalise the structure of the deal, with the Premier League giants set to pay £106M up front, with add-ons rising up to possibly £17M.

Now, the clubs will exchange documents, with the player himself set to undergo a medical this weekend.

Throughout the summer, the sides have disagreed on the valuation of the gifted athlete, with PSG originally asking for a fee of approximately £145M. However, slowly but surely the teams worked things out, with Barcola set to put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

Should everything go according to plan this weekend, then the Frenchman will become the second most expensive signing in Liverpool history, falling narrowly short of Alexander Isak, who joined from Newcastle last summer.

With the 23-year-old coming in, it will likely open the door for Cody Gakpo to leave.

Florian Wirtz could have to leave Liverpool very soon

Gakpo isn’t the only player whose days with ‘The Reds’ could be numbered.

Florian Wirtz could also receive his marching orders.

During an exclusive interview with Sporf, a Champions League winner opened up about his thoughts on the German.

This Liverpool legend explained why Wirtz could leave the club soon.
