Logan Paul has signed with WWE

Social media personality Logan Paul has signed with WWE following his successful appearance at WrestleMania 38.

Paul took part in a tag team match alongside The Miz against the team of Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Although the YouTuber had never competed in a WWE match before, he certainly impressed fans watching the prestigious event.

Paul showcased plenty of athleticism and executed a number of moves made famous by the late Eddie Guerrero. He landed a picture-perfect frog splash on Dominik. That was shortly after he successfully performed the ‘Three Amigos’ suplexes.

His performance suggested that he had a long-term future in WWE. Reports that he had a special babyface clause inserted into his contract for subsequent appearances only then backed this up.

Logan Paul announced on Thursday that he has officially signed with WWE, and opened the door for a future feud with The Miz. After his WrestleMania 38 match, Miz performed the ‘Skull-Crushing Finale’ on his tag partner.

Alongside photos of himself signing a contract, and with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon watching on, Paul tweeted: “Just signed with the WWE.”

In a press release on WWE’s official website, Paul can also be seen showing up a message to The Miz. It simply reads: “Coming 4 you, Miz.”

The press release adds: “After speculation they might once again team up, Paul made it clear he’s out for payback at SummerSlam.”

Furthermore, Ariel Helwani has reported that, according to sources, Paul has agreed to a “multi-year deal to compete at multiple events per year.” He will appear at an “undisclosed number of premium live events across 2022 and 2023.”

Fans will watch on with interest to see how the Paul/Miz storyline develops in the coming weeks. SummerSlam takes place on July 30.
