Sunderland have reached an agreement to sign winger Malick Fofana from Olympique Lyonnais in a deal worth an initial €30m, according to David Ornstein. The 21-year-old Belgium international is set to sign a five-year contract at the Stadium of Light after completing his medical.

Fofana will travel to Sunderland on Wednesday morning to sign his long-term contract. The club will then process the final paperwork with the EFL and FA. He is expected to join first-team training later this week ahead of his potential debut.
