Brentford have reached a verbal agreement to sign El Hadji Malick Diouf from West Ham United in a deal worth a total package of £40 million, according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer includes a fixed fee of £35 million plus performance-related add-ons, with the Senegalese talent reportedly keen on the project at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The deal is now in place after a breakthrough in negotiations between the two London clubs. While formal documents are yet to be signed, the agreement in principle marks a significant move for Thomas Frank’s side.
