Mason Mount suffers injury during PSG vs Manchester United

Manchester United got off to a poor start during their showdown against PSG, with Ibrahim Mbaye scoring in just two minutes. However, in a testament to the fighting heart of the Premier League players, they found a way back into the game, with Bryan Mbuemo bagging his third goal in two pre-season matches.

However, while Michael Carrick’s men can take comfort in emerging from the fixture having held the Champions League winners to a draw, there are also massive negatives to take from the match, including the fact that Mason Mount didn’t hear the final whistle.

After just 19 minutes, the midfielder was forced off the field of play. And he wasn’t the only Manchester United star not to make it through the game unscathed.

Tom Heaton forced off through injury during PSG vs Manchester United

Tom Heaton certainly didn’t have the match he would’ve liked.

Moments into the second half, the goalkeeper suffered a collision that left him in pain.

Like Mount, Heaton had no choice but to exit the field of play.

We’re yet to recieve official confirmation on how bad both injuries are, with fans hopining that the subsitutions were merely cautionary.
