In-keeping with the brand’s recent ‘out-there’ drive in terms of design, Nike has unveiled the brand new away shirt for the USA men’s and women’s national sides.
Inspired by the stars and stripes colour-scheme, the new jersey definitely isn’t one for the faint-hearted. The old-school Nike swoosh is a VERY welcome addition too.
There’s been a clear effort by Nike, to push a lot of their designs out of the typical silhouette ahead of the new season. Take Inter Milan’s mismatch nostalgia kit and Chelsea’s zig-zag, chequerboard hybrid home shirt, for instance.
Like most of Nike’s recent drops, the US national shirt continues the brand’s sustainability drive and is made with at least 75% recycled polyester fibres.

The women’s version of the shirt will differ slightly in design, with the inclusion of four stars above the crest representing the nation’s World Cup wins.
