Pierce O’Leary and Mark Chamberlain both hit the canvas in a thrilling fight.

The warriors left it all in the ring at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

With the IBO super lightweight title on the line, Pierce O’Leary and Mark Chamberlain were both willing to do everything in their power to emerge from the bout the victor.

And in the early stages of the contest, it appeared like the challenger was all but guaranteed to claim the belt. In the second round, Chamberlain detonated a monstrous left hand to drop the champion and render the Irish crowd stunned.

While O’Leary bravely rose from the ashes, just one round later, he was taken off his feet once again when a powerful uppercut exploded on his jaw.

In a testament to his ferocious fighting heart, the fan favourite beat the count for a second time. Alas, it looked like just a matter of time before he was taken out.

However, showcasing incredible resilience, he battled his way back into the bout, landing a crushing body shot in the seventh round to put Chamberlain down.

From that point, the pair traded big punches, with both looking capable of securing the win.

However, in the end, it was the Englishman who found a thunderous combination in the tenth round, which left O’Leary falling forward to the ground for a third knockdown. At this point, the referee jumped in.

Ultimately, both fighters have earned credit in abundance, with fans desperate to see the athletes battle it out in a rematch.
