Vitaly Laletin emerged victorious against Alizhan Muratov at East vs West Armwrestling 25.

The powerful athletes battled it out for the Left Arm super heavyweight world championship in Batumi, Georgia.

At East vs West Armwrestling 24 in Cologne, Germany, Vitaly Laletin was rendered heartbroken after losing 4-1 to Devon Larratt on the right arm. The month prior, the Russian had defeated ‘No Limits’ on his favoured left arm in an impressive display in Vienna, Austria.

Therefore, with Larratt now 50 years old and Laletin in the prime of his career, many expected the powerhouse to take the baton from the Canadian before challenging Levon Saginashvili for global supremacy on the right arm.

However, when Laletin failed to produce the goods, he was forced to go back to the drawing board. Luckily, with the left arm title still very much in his possession, he wasn’t too far away from another major match-up, with the talented athlete back on the big stage at East vs West Armwrestling 25 against Alizhan Muratov.

Following such a heartbreaking loss in his previous outing, Laletin had the pressure of the world on his shoulders, knowing it was of paramount importance that he remind the armwrestling community of just how good he truly is.

And it’s fair to say that he did just that in abundance, winning 4-0 to defend his title.
