Sean Sharaf made $100,000 in bonuses at UFC 331

Going into his fight with Gable Steveson, Sean Sharaf was given little to no chance of pulling off the victory, with most expecting him to serve as a mere stepping stone for the man many believe to be the future of the UFC heavyweight division.

In a moment nobody saw coming, the former Marine connected with a monstrous left hook to send his opponent crashing towards the canvas, before diving on top of him to finish the fight via nasty ground-and-pound.

It took Sharaf just 12 seconds to spring the upset, and he was financially compensated as a result.

Not only did the mixed martial artist receive a healthy bonus from the guys at Paramount+ to celebrate the release of MobLand season 2, but also from the UFC President.

During the post-fight press conference, Dana White revealed: “They did a MobLand bonus tonight for $50,000.

“That’s going to Sean, and I’m going to match for another $50,000, so he gets $100,000. Somebody said he’s $600,000 in debt. We are knocking out $100,000 off the $600,000. There you go. Congrats to him.
