The Nigerian would likely make a massive splash in the Premier League, but this might just have ruined the chance of that ever happening.
Arsenal wants Victor Osimhen to take a pay cut
Victor Osimhen has become a huge target at the Emirates, with Arsenal keen to secure his signature.
The sublime footballer showcased his talent in abundance last season for Galatasaray, with the superstar exhibiting remarkable pace and creativity, en route to scoring 22 goals and playing a pivotal role in helping his side make it to the Last 16 of the Champions League.
With that in mind, it comes as no major surprise that ‘The Gunners’ would love to bring him to London.
However, that idea may never come to fruition.

According to Foot Mercato, Mikel Arteta’s side is unwilling to match his wage demands and would need him to take a pay cut if he wants to sign for the club.
Does Victor Osimhen want to play for Arsenal?
There’s little doubt that Osimhen would make an enormous impact for Arsenal.
Therefore, it’s in the reigning Premier League champion’s best interest to find a solution to the problem.
However, if he doesn’t want to make the move, then it doesn’t matter anyway.
