Unsurprisingly, ‘The Destroyer’ is fully aware of the waves it would generate if he could set foot inside the squared circle with the Irishman.

Earlier today, boxing.media took to Instagram to post a graphic of the pair, facing off in ten-ounce gloves, with the caption: “Conor Benn’s return to the ring could reportedly be against Conor McGregor in what could potentially be the highest-grossing PPV of all time, with both fighters contracted under the Zuffa banner.”

Exhibiting his enthusiasm to trade leather with the mixed martial arts fighter, the Englishman shared the post to his story, with a bold message: “Any day of the week.”

While Dana White has previously refused to allow competitors on his UFC roster to enter the Zuffa boxing ring, with McGregor having previously gone toe-to-toe with Floyd Mayweather, it shows the UFC president is willing to make exceptions when it comes to his biggest star.
