Conor Benn puts on 32lbs after weighing in to fight Ryan Garcia

Conor Benn weighed in at 146lbs for his showdown with Ryan Garcia. However, he’s now claiming to have put on an astonishing 32lbs.

A video has circulated on social media of the Brit hitting the scales at 178.4lbs, which is over the light heavyweight limit.

However, despite this, some fans aren’t convinced that the figures are telling the full story, with many heading to social media to voice their concerns.

One said: “I can’t believe you guys are falling for this like children. He clearly set the scale ten or 15 pounds higher without showing the 0 and stood to play mind games. Come on, guys.”

A second posted: “Who actually believes this nonsense, 30 pounds in 12 hours since the morning weigh-in?”

Another wrote: “Two and a half stone in a matter of hours? Yeah, that didn’t happen.”
