Conor Benn was annihilated by Ryan Garcia in a heartbreaking defeat for the Brit.

‘King Ry’ delivered a special performance for his adoring fans at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

From the first bell, Ryan Garcia showcased his remarkable speed, wobbling Conor Benn to his core with lightning left hooks.

However, ‘The Destroyer’ wasn’t going to go down without a fight, attempting to bully his opponent on the inside, with the Englishman putting his rival under pressure.

Benn tried to continue with the rough tactics in the second round, and it ultimately proved to be his undoing.

The Londoner walked into a monstrous right hand that sent him crashing towards the canvas.

In a testament to his bravery, Benn beat the count, but he was clearly severely hurt.

Smelling blood in the water, Garcia pounced like a shark, pushing Benn into the ropes, where he landed an array of explosive punches.

With the underdog one punch away from getting knocked out cold, the referee jumped in, ending his dream of becoming world champion, at least for now.

However, for Garcia, the sky is the limit, with the Mexican-American reminding the boxing community of just how good he can be when he’s on form.
